Overview
Land O' Frost needed to modernize a brand that felt vintage to many consumers. The new site had to ecompass three distinct brands, with Land O' Frost premium being the flagship. With 3 brands, and a ton of SKU's, striking the correct balance of branding between all three was a challenge.
Approach
The site we built and designed used the companies heritage and ethos as the connective thread between all three distinct brands. We leaned more on the branding of Land O' Frost premium, but left space for Bistro Favorites and Deli Shaved to shine. The result was a site that felt fresh, true to their story, and well organized.
Knowing that the history of the company was going to be a key part of the corporate brand story, we created a clickable timeline to showcase that story. Tailing back until 1930, crafting the timeline required digging through archives and pulling out the defining moments.
In addition to the website, we also updated the brand visual identity. Over the years, as the company and brands grew, the brand characteristics had become cluttered with special use cases that became mainstreamed. With the brand visual identity, we modernized and curated the brand standards to better reflect the brand today and clarified what brand elements to adhere to.

Land O' Frost had a large amount of secondary and accent colors in their palette, mostly to help significy flavor profiles. We curated these down and broght color consistnecy and color theory to the secondary and accent colors.
