Approach
Land O' Frost was looking for a fun, light-hearted way to speak to moms about healthy lunch decisions. The Sandwich Board of Directors fit the bill. These irreverant characters served as the the backbone of the campaign in both TV, print and POP applications.
The deli aisle is a confusing, complicated place. For years now, customers have been on their own to decipher confusing terms like "natural" that don't mean what they imply. Land O' Frost makes a good, honest product that customers and place their trust in, and it comes with a price tag that makes a difference to a lot of folks.
The Sandwhich Board campaign was created to inject some fun into a space that's filled with stodgy legacy brands and trendy new brands selling a "green" product that a lot of times doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Many bad puns (and a few good ones) were the result.

we saved time for the actors to ad lib and riff off of each other, which led to a number of extensions for the spots, not to mention a fun filming session.
